Live Nation just announced that Jack Johnson would be visiting Wisconsin's Alpine Valley this summer with Mason Jennings and Money Mark Saturday, June 21. The show starts at 7p with doors opening at 5p. This show will demand that folks show up early for some serious pre-show fun in the parking lot.
I remember a few years ago seeing Jack Johnson open up for Ben Harper at the Marcus Amphitheater during Milwaukee's Summerfest. The show was off the hook. Every seat was filled. There was no visible grass. This was all before the opening act! I think Summerfest underestimated the popularity of this tandem act.
I will be in East Troy, WI for this show singing along at the top of my lungs to my fave Rodeo Clowns...
Jack Johnson tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster this Saturday at noon. Ticket prices are roughly $20-60 or so.
