It's deep winter snow on the hills of Alpine Valley. We're far from the summer days where music flows up those very hills. With that, there have been no solid concert announcements for the summer of 2009. If one were to guess, Dave Matthews Band will be coming back again. DMB has announced that they will be touring in Summer. This is despite the fact that their long-time keyboard player has recently died.
He was a force in that band, and he will be missed.
One could guess that if Jimmy Buffett were to tour this summer, he would stop there too. Jimmy Buffett came last summer, but the year before that he played at Soldier Field in Chicago. It was not the same as playing in East Troy. His fans need a place to gather before the show, and after the show. Heck, they party during the show as well. The snow will melt, the grass will grow, and the concerts will be locked in soon enough. For now, try your hand at skiing.
